Who should it be?.... It's been almost a year since he last fought and there's no way he'll fight Pac right away without having a tune-up fight considering his inactivity. I believe he will fight Manny cause the money is just too damn big to be left on the table. Matthew Hatton is out of the equation cause he's fighting Saul Alvarez so I'd say he fight Bradley. A smaller fighter with less Power a P4P top 10 with a good record. He really fits the bill to that kind of fighter Floyd only fights :good
Really? Another tune up? He's a gym rat, and he was more successful against Marquez than Mosley in the early rounds, though that could just be down to who he was fighting. He doesn't need another tune up, and if he does fight someone, fight a welterweight for a change, not a blown up Jr. Welterweight or Lightweight, it's sad. Pac's beaten Margarito, Cotto and Clottey, Mayweather's beaten Mosley and Judah, one of which he actually gets credit for. Fight someone for real, please. I'd be more than happy with Berto, I really would.
I'm not sold on the whole tune-up thing. It makes sense that you wouldn't want to fight Pac without a tune-up, but at some point you SHOULD care about the PR battle. Taking another tune-up will only delay the fight until 2012 the earliest and that's just not cool... But probably won't happen until 2012 anyways....
Floyd is going to end his career fighting tuneups. He'll take on a tuneup, take off another year or so, then return again claiming he needs another tuneup. He has not intentions to fight Pac.
The thing is, Floyd doesn't give a **** about his fans or his image. He is a prize fighter. He fights for ahh well, PRIZE. Duhhhhh!
No more pointless fights for either guy... its vs each other this year or retire in shame... both of you pricks.
If we are talking about a "tune-up," no Pac, Bradley, Cotto, Khan: Senchencko! Alexander Alvarez/Hatton winner Berto/Ortiz winner I don't really know how to feel about the Paul Spadafora rumors. I mean, I'd still buy it, but please take on one of the above. If he were to take on Senchencko, Spadafora, or Hatton, it'd be the perfect opportunity to go international...
He cares about his image otherwise he wouldn't have explained what happened in negotiations and would have just let it be. Probably doesn't care too much about fans because, hell he makes more than any of us from his haters alone.
Only Pac fights guys coming off losses/sub-par performances. There will be no tune up. Either the fight happens in November or it never will.
the fight wont happen so there wont be a tuneup. and i dont know if he would even want a tuneup anyway.
