why dont enzo go to hw and just target featherfisted fighters?

the problem with Enzo is not his chin. As wallet and others have said. Those shots that Haye, Lebedev, Frenkel, Alafoabi and Swaby would have knocked anyone out because he walked onto those shots.

His problem is he has no defence.

How Enzo boxed agaisnt Braithwaite and for 6 rounds agaisnt Frenkel he would still beat anyone in the world at cruiser outside the top 5.

 

The idea they would have KO'd anyone is the type of silly comment people like Zakman thrive off. There is no evidence for that. People get hit with big shots in boxing. The worrying thing for Enzo is he can box very well and dominate a fight yet it only takes one shot to turn it around. That shot Frenkel landed was about the only meaningful piece of work he did. The first punch Haye landed had Enzo on ***** street, but people like Ruiz and Barrett came through quite some punishment. So did Lasse Johanesson. He has resistance issues, it can't be sugar coated.

 

Of course, but I wouldn't go as far to say "he's got no chin".

 

I disagree.

Enzo was probaly winning the fight.

But he hardly looked impressive - even if he had beaten Frenkel he wasnt going anywhere - he would have been sparked if he had got back into World Class.

He looked old and shopworn against Frenkel.

 

Enzo has fufilled his career.

He won WBU & WBO World Crusierweight titles.

He won European Crusierweight titles.

And he fought for WBC / WBA World Crusierweight titles.

He has finally got the respect he craved as a warrior with a big fighting heart and can now rest assured he will not simply be remebered as the Superstar Glamour Boy of his hometown.............

dont get it confused he has a shaky beard but i think it's a bit can do. the shot bruce scott caught him with was a massive haymaker. same with swaby....it's mainly defence. he keeps his hands at his shoulders and leaves both hands out when he throws combos. like when ola got to him both of his arms where in front of him not covering himself at all

Enzo doesn't fight well for a tall man that's his problem. He lets guys get close and roll under his arms and land big shots. He's to aggressive for own good at times and it's costly.

His style's do or die...and recently he's committed suicidal errors. Fun fighter to watch but he does himself no favor's.

He just stated in that column he wanted to be remeberd more than just a superstar of his town glamour boy.

I think he achieved that - people will remeber him as a WBU / WBO / Euro Champ - who also fought in a big World Unification fight with Haye.

Because he became Swanseas first ever World Champion boxer when he won the title.
