P4P most (ring) intelligent boxers today

    That's about the size of it.

    I dont see many refind fighters out there these days who rely on their Boxing IQ, a lot of them tend to be gifted athletically so can get away with making mistakes, Gamboa, Khan possibly being the quintessential examples.

    thanks. i was hoping no one would be dumb enough to take me seriously about my boy williams. he's a cool guy, but he fights with no intelligence at all.

    thanks for the vid Philla.

    see, we all know "bHop and Pbf" is a great way to answer the thread. But we've got to take a look at what the new guys are worth. Will take a look at mijares and miguel vasquez (lets see if there is any bHop in them :smile:).

    yeah Paul is a physical freak and I hope he comes back strong, but he has no ring IQ. You can even see it in his trainer

    hopkins number 1.

    the guy has very little athletic skill, his spped isn't great, his power isn't great, his reflexes aren't great.

    he wins purely off timing and gameplan.

    Floyd, Bhops, Nonito, and Vitali should round up the top 4. These guys don't take too many chances and when they do they are usually successful at it because they know what they are doing.
