Calsappy was excellent, but I reckon Ward would have given him a fright. Joe would have found a way to win, but what a workout.
Well I forgot about Ward...I thought the way Joe changed his game plan mid fight after being behind on the cards due to 3 or 4 flush upper cuts Kess landed was great....but Ward just smashed Kess all over....hes a class act thats for sure I want to see more of Ward....sad to say I dont think Joe comes back...if he does it will be for a 1 off fight with Froch :good
Not taking anything away from Ward, as he looked great, I think Kessler was off his game in that fight. I think the Kessler that fought Calzaghe would have been different for Ward. Cal would smack Froch from pillar to pillar.
Very different indeed mate: One was a trainer saying something about his fighter that's so silly anyone with half a brain knew it was tongue in cheek. The other was an athlete comparing himself, in fact putting himself above, sporting legends. In hindsight, a stupid comment that only further alienated the Aussie public.
I think Mundine learnt in his rugby days, or even before then, that by sulky loudly, or saying outrageous comments to media, that something gives. I don't follow the sport of 'empty heads', but I believe his admiration by New South Wankers was limited to a few. He took this hatred with him into boxing, and big mouthed right the way through. It's worked well... he's stinking rich, and getting richer...... unfortunately, for the sport that made him so rich, there's only 2 or 3 fights that will be spoken of in years to come.. The rest will become triva questions. His own legacy will be very much twisted by the future Ashleys of the world.

That is a **** POOR career however you fanny it over when you take into account the god given talent and skills he was born with , ( big fish tiny pond stufff ) if Choc was given the entire package by the bloke upstairs it would have included a heart equal to the ****s cob and he would be retired now as an ATG instead of getting sparked by Garth .
