I haven't c'n much of his fights but he has been calling out everyone...and David has got a lot of fans on ESB so I thought it would be interesting to see how people think it goes...

Lemieux is half Armenian; Martirosyan is all Armenian. Based on the formula JMM pioneered in the wake of his fight with Diaz, Martirosyan should win.

This is a great fight for sure....Lemieux would win on power being the stronger guy while Vanes being a LM will need to use speed and reach.

IMO Vanes has faced the better fighters but Lemieux keeps KO'ing guys even this year when hes faced better fighters

At MW I will go with DL on power :good

Vanes has reach, but not enough speed IMO to keep David off of him. No way does Vanes outpunch David on the inside. I don't see this fight happening anytime soon, but if it does it'd be at 160. Lemieux by KO. :D

What's also interesting is Vanes is fighting Bladimir Hernandez -a guy David destroyed in Aug '09- as a tune-up for Saul Roman, which is @ LMW.

Vanes is not going up to 160. Not for Lemieux anyway.

There was a time when I liked Vanes a lot, but he just hasn't improved. He might luck his way into a title at some point, but facing someone like Lemieux, he'd get laid out.

    Lemieux by ko.

The only down-side to him blowing everyone away is that we don't get to see him put it a lot of rounds, let alone see how he reacts to adversity. I really don't think Vanes is the guy to test him - I don't even think he has the speed, movement or defence to keep Lemieux off him - sooner or later, he's going to land and, when he does, it's over.

Vanes' performance against Ouma certainly didn't convince me he's ready to move up in weight and take on a guy like Lemieux. Just too big and too dangerous.

I'd rather see Vanes fight Lara at 154.
