Most casul fans have never heard of ike ibeabuchi, ive heard alot of casual fans say Tyson is the G.O.A.T.

Im not talking proper boxing fans with good knowladge of the sport, just casual everyday fans

During the time he was trained by Kevin Rooney and "under control", absolutely not.

Tyson is overrated indeed, Buster showed that, Holy showed that, Lewis showed that and Kevin McBride showed that. Doesn't matter if Tyson was in bad condition, if he was GOAT then he shall fight like one + other greatest fought being older than Tyson and even in worse health condition: Ali and Foreman for example.

    Have you seen his record?

He was 37-0 and 45-1 before he started on his losing streak.

It doesn't matter if you're in Japan or Australia, if you're into any kind of sport you KNOW who Mike tyson is. In his prime his physical fitness and mental strength were monstrous.

Even then, at most he is a Top 20 ATG, but he has done more for boxing than Pac or Mayweather ever will, outside of the Philippines.

Boxing wouldnt have had much of a following if it wasnt for Tyson. When Ali left Boxing became boring, when Tyson was undeafeted you watched him with not even a thought that he was overrated.

Not by boxing fans, causual or hardcore. But the general public definitely overrate him. Whenever i talk to somebody who doesn't know about boxing they are shocked when i tell them Tyson lost a fight (not just 1 but 6!!!)

Im not knocking Tyson, there was no doubt he is an ATG.

What im saying is, most casual fans would have Tyson as the G.O.A.T, If you asked the average person in the street who the best boxer of all time is 9 out of 10 would say Ali or Tyson.
