past: DLH..very fast Current: Abner Mares...

Mexicans can have quick hands, but aren't slick b/c they don't have the reflexes..

Tell this to the opponents of RJJ, Pac, SRR. Speed is a very valuable assest to have. If your all speed and nothing else, thats a different story.

Not true, they are trained in a different style. If a mexican started in a Philly or Detroit he'd fight in that style reflexes in all.

He's not from Mexico. Some whites do have it. I was running sprints in New Mexico and I was fast as hell. Moved to Virginia, and lo, I was just a little below mediocre there. Going from a hispanic track team to a black one makes a huge difference.

It's funny, there aren't any Mexican fighters that stand out as being especially fast. But Miguel Canto was flyweight champion in the 70's for several years and many defenses. He had pretty quick hands.

So some Whites have it but Mexicans cant? White people are stiff as hell along with being very unbalanced. Doesnt make any sense.

As far as SPEED goes, Finito takes it. With Barrera and Sanchez as honerable mentions.

If Slickness is what you're looking for, then none come close to El Maestro, Miguel Canto. He is by far our slickest fighter.

Willie Pep use to train with a cat to gain better reflexes. I agree some folks are born with better reflexes, but you can also improve them.
