Where to look when sparring?..

    I tend to look at the chest when I sparr. Is that good or a bad habit 'cause it works with me...

    good. you can see everything that way. if his shoulder opens up you know a hook is coming. if not, it will be a straight one.

    yeah thats I see things and I think its better because of the headgear sometimes it whon't let you see hook coming

    Chest is good, I look at their feet lol. When I see their feet I can judge the distance, but I wouldn't recommend it for everyone.. or anyone for that matter lol

    i do that too. it helps me to time punches so that the opponent can only defend himself. It depends, but mostly i look at the chest.

    In my limited experience, anywhere above mid chest and below his nose (unless you are following a shot in) is cool as long as you don't focus. I try to keep the entire session using peripheral vision. I only look at his face for "reads".
