If Floyd never fights Pac, what fights would get him back to #1 P4P

    Name 3-5 opponents that Floyd could take that would help him overtake an active Pacquiao in the ranking?:think

    I think if he finaly faces his fear and take on Paul Williams, Cotto and Berto he might get some dap.

    Pac could get KO'D by Mosley - I imagine that might see Floyd overtake him

    This. Floyd has to take #1 from Pac and Pac only, unless the Pacman loses to someone else.

    Yeah, anyone at 147 has a good chance of getting stopped by Mosley. Anyway, Sergio is the only real one that stands out other than Pac for him right now, I think. :conf

    None unless he moves up to super middleweight and dominates there the way Pac moved to Welterweight and Jr. Middleweight. Of course that is impossible to see no matter what happens, I don't even think he will fight a decent opponent where he is IF he ever fights.

    Martinez is the obvious choice. If Floyd beat him convincingly and Pac struggled with Shane, they could swap places on the P4P list just like that.

    Otherwise, he'd have to fight a string of tough opponents and beat them in style. Since Floyd only fights once a year, at most, this is highly unlikely.

    None. Pac is his only option. Even if he fought Martinez and Bradley-Khan winner I'd still have Pac above him...

    Beating Martinez would just further consolidate 2nd spot. He'd have to face Pac to claim top dog!

    It is always a combination of bad #1 performance and better#2 performance with opponent factored in.

    If Pac performs poorly (whatever "poorly" is) and PBF schools someone like Martinez then you can make an argument he is number one. But if Pac status quo his fights, PBF would have to do something EXTRAORDINARY to take over #1 (like cleaning up 154).
