How on earth can Adam possibly doubt that Ricky Burns isnt the Best SFW in the country, Adam fact,Burns beat the No1 rated "SFW IN THE WORLD"in Martinez, no other boxer in the UK would have came remotely close to beating him and the thing is Ricky's improved loads since.Imo he would easily beat any domestic fighter in the UK at present, were hoping to be chasing a unification fight in the summer not go back the way!
    :huh

I agree, burns IMO is the best but.......

How can he prove this fighting laryea.

Understandably I have no problem with him milking two or three fights but if after that there is no progression one has to wonder if he is being protected due to being no better than a domestic.

I say that with respect Billy as I congratulated you on that great win.

the main reason is because the difference between world level and british level is not the drastic as in other divisions. How much of a difference is there between Kyrakosion and Martinez?? Foster Jnr knocked him out in 2 rounds?

Theres only one way to find out.....fight Foster Jnr but we both know that won't happen.

Also can I point out the the man Liam Walsh beat by UD for the Commonwealth title in his 10th fight beat Ricky's next opponent via a 120-108 decision on two judges cards.

Would like to see Burns fight the winner of Sykes vs Johanneson, would be for the British title and possibly a chance to avenge his loss to Carl :good You can't knock him if he's going for a unification fight though :good

I think Burns is the best, but he's got to get Laryea out of there inside six and look bloody good to justify this farce.

Really Sky ought to red card this with Burns already having one easy defence, and either insisting on Foster or a Ring top 10 ranked opponent.

Foster would have stopped Evensen and would **** this joker that's lined up next for Burns.

What gets me is that if Laryea was fighting Walsh, we'd be getting "oh, another afrobum coming over that sky hype as this weeks 'tough Ghanaian', which might be a tad harsh, yet Burns is fighting this bloke for a world title.:huh

It's as bad a fight as Haye v Harrison, but at least this one isn't PPV.

also I am pretty sure what Smith said is....."Some people may doubt if Burns is the no.1 in the country"

but clap clap Billy. Slag of the head of boxing at the network that shows your fights. looking forward to Freddie Roach attacking Ross Greenburg and Rob McCracken slagging of Ken Hershan next week.
