Pac beat two guys mayweather already beat. Mosley will be the 3rd. Talk about left overs. Mayweather beats them and pac finishes them off or drains them.

Keep defending pac all you want, but floyd has done so much more.

    It dose not matter.
    1. There are no signs that Pacquiao will ever be willing to get into the ring with Mayweather. Look at who he's fought at 140 and above Margarito, Clottey, Cotto and Hatton. The only reason he's fighting Mosley now is that he's comming off a loss to Mayweather nd a draw with Mora. If he thought Mosley was dangurees he would never get in the ring with him.
    2. Pacquiao is going to be in for a big surprise when he finds out that Mosley is very dangrous. Mora has a style that has allways given Mosley problems and Mayweather is heads over heals better than him. Pacquiao dose nt have a style that gives mosley problems nor is he heads over heals better than Mosley.
The question after they fight is do we want to see a Mayweather/Mosley rematch.

None until pac loses or looks really bad. Lately pac has been dominating his opponents.

    diaz-shutout before the KO
    delahoya got dominated
    Hatton got KTFO
cotto was the last competitive fights he had. Cotto won 2 rounds
    Clottey- 12 rounds shutout
    margarito--complete domination
    Mosley????

never thought of it like that...but youre right.....mosley has simply looked awful the last 2 years...pac is becoming the Juggernaut destroyer...
shane has a chance but at almost 40, it just doesnt happen at these weights...especially against the #1 guy in the world

In a ceratn sense I don't see why he should not be ratted #1 right now. Due to his lack of acativity he's on the verge of losing that spot but the more I think about it he's still the man. If Mayweather dose not fight soon he's going to lose that top spot. His greates threats to the top spot is not Pacquiao who has been fighting bums but Sergio Gabriel Martinez and Nonito Donaire. Both of whom I have recently made my #1's.
With Mayweather being enactive Pacquiao has not seezed the opertunity tofirmly estlablish him self as the worlds best boxer. With the expection of Shane Mosley every one of his oppoents from 135 up can be questioned. They were either never really all that good such as David Diaz, Jushua Clottey. and Antioniao Margarito. Past their best like Oscar De La Hoya and Ricky Hatton. Good but not great like Miguel Cotto.
Sergio Martinez stands out as the guy that Mayweather should fight to secure his lagacy. Beating Martinez would mean winning a championship at 160 to go along the ones he has won at 130, 135, 140, 147 & 155. That would be Mayweathe a six devision world champion. Assuming they fought at 160 and not a catchweight. Mayweather would have as many ligtament champions as Pacquiao.
This being said. Mayweather should fight the Andre Berto/Victor Ortiz winner for the WBC championship next. After that it is a hard call to make. If Timothy Bradley and Amir Khan fight each other. Mayweather should fight the winner. After that I don't see any reason outside of Pacquiao having a change of hart. For Mayweather to stay at 147.
Those two wins should soldify him as the #1 pound for pound boxer (active Not all time.), but if that is not enough for you. I think he should move up to 154 and posibily 160. The sooner he fights Martinez who at 36 is not getting any younger the better. If Mayweather is looking to be retired sooner rather than latter he might consider skipping 154 and going to 160 to fight Martinez who will probbly still be the top middleweight in the world. If he wants to prolong his career there are good boxers at 154 but no one who could be called great.

Diaz was the less dangerous of the 135 lbs
De La Hoya was done after Fraud
Hatton was schooled by Fraud and was drunk the day of the fight
The fight was Cotto wasn't at WW, 144 lbs more like it, a weight Cotto was drain to make it.
I don't know when Clottey has been avoided but the way the fight went, he was paid under the table too.
And Margarito was ask to come down in weight too and was damaged goods after the beating he took from Mosley, what he has done is recycled fighters that had been in the meat grinder.

Mosley fought at 147 last May and was simply never close to as effective at 154 with larger men, which is why he never stays there. He went up after Forrest, came back down, went up after Cotto for Mayorga, came back down for Margarito, went up after Mayweather for Mora, now is coming back down again. ODLH left welterweight and hadn't returned to 147 for seven years. SEVEN YEARS. He even went to 160. ODLH furthermore cut significantly much more weight than he needed to in order to make the weight limit. The two situations aren't comparable in that regard, although I'm sure it's more difficult for Mosley to get down than it was a few years ago. That doesn't make it the ODLH zombie beating SNL sketch all over again.
