Domestically I think his experience will get him a few decent paydays ( hopefully without any drama or long term physical effect on him ) but your right he is done as a contender on the world stage without doubt , he had his moments but was never in the very TOP draw sadly IMO , that's the thing up here Con as you know there is no place to hide like Mundine has found you either **** or get off the pot .

Mitchell was apparently offered 30large by Frank to face Murray and Mitchell bitched out claiming he was lowballed.

Need anyone remind him of the pathetic effort he put in against Katsidis last year, after Frank went to a **** load of expense getting him the fight at Upton Park?

Biggest grossing fight?? If Burns/Johnson..Patrick/Burns..Rose/Gattelari or half a dozen others were availed via PPV, they have eclipsed Green/Mundine. You know ****.

Mundine won ****. He was never recognised as "THE" World Champ by the WBA.. a version holder of their lowly rated ****.

The only world title worthy of Mundine defending was the IBO M/W. The weak ***** avoided that!!!

Aussie title in his 5th bout?? Stiff ****. Others have done it in 1st 2nd 3rd 4th bouts..

I think all these Mandy fanboys and the team at BOXA think we are all stupid and can't think for ourselves. They think we haven't actually seen what his career is and as it stands, it's not 1/20th of what it couldn't have been.

Don't everyone be fooled with this rot that he's a multi-multi millionaire and made all this coin. Yes, he has done well for himself, as has old man Tony and Khoder Nassar who if the word is right all split BOXA's profit 3 ways - that's 33.3% each!

Take out MainEvent's 50% cut and each show isn't the cash cow it's made out to be. What about the Ryan Waters show which only did 6,000 PPV's or the Argie cab driver in Brisbane last year which apparently wasn't much better at 7,000?

Do the math boys and then the deductions and it ain't the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow everyone makes out. There was a interview I read some time back whereby Mundine actually stated he only made $20,000 from fighting Kessler, hence he even questioned why he should bother bringing out and fighting hard opponents when he didn't actually make all the money from the show.

Everyone associated with BOXA have fed Ashley this drivel of world supremacy and it's been eaten by the barrow load with requests for second helpings. Ash is a good bloke and he, as well as others should wake up to themselves and use common sense.

As much as I think he'll come out and beat Wood in a rematch (so they can go to a ripping trilogy of 'fights'), I actually hope he get's battered and the Mandy 'could have/gonna/their ducking me man' dreams that Ash and all the fan boys have just fade into oblivion...
