Stayed there last September mate. It's alright, clean rooms, friendly staff but its miles from everything. If you stay there go the Sahara one night. $1 drinks, $1 shots, $1 hot dogs and you will have a ball.
This is a great thread and I've bookmarked it as I'm hoping to go to Vegas later in the year, maybe for Khan vs Bradley or Ward vs Froch if that one comes together.:good
I have stayed in the Luxor, Mandalay Bay, Monte Carlo and Hooters...:yep lb for lb the best out of them all for price, friendliness, cleanliness and location for everything has to be Hooters by a country mile...:good

The Bellagio is the bollocks mate , i walked straight into Anthony Keidis stood in the big players que :hey right outside there The Palms is very easy to get too from any of the hotels (15 mins max) although set back off the strip to the North , is it the Pearl at the Palms arena ??? lovely little venue if it is , really intimate , great place to watch a fight , i seen The Ultimate Fighter Finale Liddell vs Ortiz / Franklin there . **** ive got such a hard on thinking about Vegas !!
If your a young man (you did say you'll be 21 at the time right) there is only 2 places for you buddy : MGM Grand - just doesnt get any better , and the only hotel that will maximise your Las Vegas experience , as a youngster Hard Rock - caters for younger people , and has a young vibe about the place , its like the whole American college community is permantly on vacation there , and the women love our accents !!! and its cheaper Do not go bargain basement on your hotel mate , the hotel makes your experience , specially if your only having a short stay :good
Just as a sidenote , sorry Go to the shopping center in Planet Hollywood , there is a very small fight store there which sells every single fight T shirt under the sun !!! , mainly MMA (if you like that sort of thing) but i did pick up the Hatton Pacquiao Remetee T shirt Hatton was wearing under his blue over top , the one his whole team were wearing , and Cotto Pacquiao , Cotto's Ekco walk in T shirt for that fight . Great shop !! :good
