On a more serious note and since you're here, I'm curious, given their qualifications in sports science, do the brothers design their own conditioning programmes?

the programs are something that has been developed over the years. They have taken things from different trainers and formed the program. But they are always looking to improve it.... such as swimming. Its been only about 3 years with Hard core swimming with much less running. Like I said, always looking for new things to give them the edge in conditioning

It works very well along with the food program we have

Excellent to know, it's a matter of interest to me as my degree is in Exercise Science and Biomechanics, with part credit in nutrition.

Do you ever incorporate coconut oil into their diet at all?

Well with Vitali's knee problems of the past, low-impact exercise (swimming) surely is of benefit.

hard to write it all down... I call it "cooking clean"
all from scratch.... nothing from a jar ..like tomato sauce and things like that... to high in sugar

High protein and High carbs but low in fat... not as low as you think but low. Natural fats like avocado, olive oil, nuts, yogurts, etc. boxers do need fat in the diet... when these guys work as hard as they do... they need fuel to burn.

lots of fruit and veg..... tons of pasta fight week for carb load

    I guess thats about it....

if all goes well, I should have a cookbook with the brothers coming out sometime next year... has all of the recipes I cook in camp:good

I'll definitely have an interest in that.

A touch of extra info on coconut oil if you're interested. It's something I try to incorporated into the diets of people I train.

Great info, thanks for that! I am very interested in food/ nutrition science and try to make all my food from scratch as well. I try to stick to raw and organic food were possible.

I´ll check out your book for sure http://www.eastsideboxing.com/forum/images/smilies/icon_great.gif

    also this,quote:
"Haye's manager Adam Booth later added fuel to the flames by saying an update on the situation could be imminent.

"At the moment I've just got to do what I've got to do. I don't want to talk about it. I'll just let David tweet whatever he wants to tweet," he said.

"Maybe by the middle of next week things could have changed quite drastically."
