The poll numbers are bs. Mayweather said he came back to take back his thrown. Now how are you going to get it back without facing Pac? He knows that he has to face Pac. If he didn't why come back? He could have stayed retired. He heard when he was retired about how Pac is a greater fighter than him. Whenever he fights him is his choice but he needs and will fight Pac. Unless he goes to prison. I truly believe this fight would have happened if Pac would have agreed to the drug testing the first damn time. This would be over with already. People say o Pac agreed to the test and floyd bitched out. I knew floyd wasn't going to fight Pac this year before he fought mosley. When he said I only fight once a year I knew he wasn't fighting in the fall. Now floyd dumb ass got in legal trouble. Let's hope the fight happens.

    Yep.

    Pac-Hatton scared Mayweather.

Pac-Cotto ended any chances that Mayweather would ever sign to fight Pacquiao.

The rest has been just details and excuses.

I think he was pushed into the fight, and he was worried enough to ask for extra drug testing. Once that fight fell through he didn't have any intention on making the fight happen, because he had an excuse at that point.

At first I did, and even til recently I did, but when I hear he's now 34, and is going to have to sort out his legal battles before even contemplating fighting again, it makes me skeptical, as I dont think he has enough heart to take the chance of fighting Pac at that age, being out the ring as long as he has.

From day one, I've always said Floyd had no intentions of ever fighting Pacquiao.

I've never, ever changed my thoughts on it at all at any point.

I was right then, and I'm right now, and I'll continue to be right, as Floyd will NEVER come to the ring to face Manny. :deal

    He wasnt serious ??????
Can anyone explain why he entered negotiations then?
Why did he agree to so many of pacquiao's demands?
Why did he say he will fight pacquiao after the mosley fight?
Why did he say on so many chat shows that I will fight and beat pacquiao easily, if he had no intentions of it happening?
Why hasnt floyd fought since mosley but pacquiao has taken so many different fights instead of the floyd fight?
Why pacquiao has never directly called out floyd?

    Seriously people wake up

How do you arrive at the conclusion PBF never wanted the fight...he did his part:
    *Conceeded to Manny demands
    *Split the money
*Not only compromised from his initial drug testing offer, went as far as to utilize a mediator to help the process along
*Was never dishonest during the process, which was support through all credible and viable outlets

I used to think he wanted to fight pac but ive changed my mind now, all this crap going on with this fight, i just cant see this happening if it was a fight against a not so good opponent, i think floyd is waiting to see how things pan out and has not much if any interest in a pac fight at the moment, hope im wrong though

he had no choice since the fight is at 147 and he just had to agree to pac's demand because he did cheated marquez on scales.

pacquiao was the bigger draw during the first time the fight was proposed. pac-cotto just outselled floyd-jmm by 200k buys and pac was the #1p4p fighter at the time so it was actually pac who did agreed to a 50-50 split.

mediator was for both sides and was not the idea of floyd alone. it was done to slvage a fight where floyd and his team went to the media more to make serious drug accusations than really negotiating for the fight.

floyd said he is out to clean the sport. he is not only dishonest but is playing even his hardcore fans. seriously, who here believes that he is out to clean the sport and then go on vacation and lose his urge afterwards?
