    Face Juan Manuel at 147 1 He weighed 143 for the Katsidis fight. Juan Manuel would out box and scholol the raw,young Canelo !

    If JMM went up 3 weight classes to fight Canelo....I think he'd win.

    As Apollo Creed once said, "Time to go to school, son!"

    And nothing about that situation ended terribly.

    Canelo was upset that JMM was criticizing him, so he challenged him as if to say, "If you think Im not good enough, then come and fight me, to prove it"

    Wow. He is just making himself sound like an idiot.

    I know he is young and everything but come on its pretty stupid. If anything he should say something along the lines of fighting a tough 154 pound contender. Angulo would be a good shout.

    i kno wut a *****. lets chalenge a way lighter guy. an alvarez is a big welter. hes gunna b movin up 2 154 after a few more fights.

    He's constantly touted as a WW but since he's come on the scene with the (other) Cotto fight, he's been fighting mostly if not all at 150 if i'm not mistaken. he'll be a JrMW soon enough.

    Canelo is being sensitive. Marquez and Nacho never questioned his ability, but his ranking and his immediate opportunity at a title shot.
