K9 via banjo. I was hoping Rhodes would get this shot.

 

I can honestly say i dont think we have seen enough of Brook to make an accurate assesment especially against decent opposition

 

I agree, but in those circumstances I always go with the "other" guy who has fought at level. Its not always the right pick but its right more often than its wrong.

 

K9 is very average, but from whats been on show he still takes this fight. What happened to chasing Mike Jones? Hardly impressive last week imo.

 

I agree i'm yo yoing on Brook at first i really didnt rate him and i still don't because he hasnt shown us anything yet but im beggning to think he might have more to offer but ffs he just needs to go in with a decent fighter

 

After seeing Jones last week I'd have thought Warren would be heading in that direction for Brook.

I'm not a fan of when an unknown quantity at world level steps up opponent and weight at the same time. It's almost like they have a ready made excuse if they fail.
Still I'm sure Frank will say he held him at 147 lbs but since Khan and Paccy ducked him, he had to move up:yep

 

Same here Scott. If a fighter is stepping up in level then the burden of prove that he's good enough is on him. Most times they'll get, to use a cliche, "exposed".

 

as long as the contract states that Brook can weigh in between 148-154 then sure I'd let him go for it.

he may have the tools to get a razor thin decision.

 

Why wouldn't Brook be able to weigh in at 148-154 for a light middleweight title fight?
