Why the fans should take it THAT seriously to step into a rivalry? You think the boxers give a **** about that? They fight, get a pay check, enjoy life with their family and friends DOT

Ali/Frazier was a life and death struggle set against the backdrop of civil rights , Ali's 3 year exile , Joe being branded an uncle tom by many in his own community just from parroting what Ali was saying - c'mon , Frank Sinatra was the official photographer for Ali/Frazier I for Life magazine - it doesnt get any bigger .

You have two sets of rival fans trading insults over the internet - compare that to the violence,the epic will ,the near death experience of both men in the Thrilla in Manilla , get a grip man - read a pac v floyd thread on here - then go and watch the Thrilla and then get back to me ,
