Yes of course!!! That's why he has got so many offers since he put up the tremendous effort against PAC and displayed grit and determination in that fight!!!!! \sarcasm

The answer to the TS's question is Castillo.

Pacquiao doesn't exactly look awesome in regard to the question either, but he does have Clottey, Diaz, and JMM obviously, Cotto kind of, and Morales who wasn't prime but sure wasn't shot either in their first two fights. Nobody can possibly argue without being a complete Mayweather nuthugger that his level of competition remotely matches Pacquiao's in the last five years.

If u talk about prime then its hatton. He couldn't fight hatton at 140 because his last fight was at 154. Prime in his own weight class is judah. How are you not in your prime because you lost a fight? For Pac it was marquez back in 04. 08 marquez was like 33 or 34 years old. Clottey was not in his prime and what the hell happened to clottey anyway? Marg was def not in his prime.

What is considered Clottey's prime anyways? He never had a great string of victories.

I disagree ... I think Floyd having to drain down to 140 could have sapped a lot from him... not saying Hatton would have won, but I definitely think Mayweather wouldn't have been able to hurt Hatton badly..

I don't think Floyd could even make 140 anymore, or at least he has no desire to overwork to make weight.

The fight with Zab Judah was big right? He ****ed Zab's **** up bad... completely one sided fight.

I am a Cotto fan, and was rooting for him... I thought Clottey won that one though.

Clottey fought a pretty good version of Margarito , and did quite well.. the fight was close.

A Floyd hate thread ain't complete without the "Pac sucks" post

Hatton fought Mayweather at WW so it doesn't count.

There is a reason why Hatton is not fighting at 210 or anything close to that.

Clottey was an Elite welterweight in his Prime coming off a close but arguable loss to Miguel Cotto when he fought Pacman

In the TS' given definition of prime and elite opponent, for Mayweather it's Castillo, for Pacman it's JMM.
