Great win for the kid moments ago, but lets get it out of the way now, marquez beats him, he can handle the pressure and easily land his combo's.
Also fast moving type fighters can beat him. But this was a good fight(had it 85-85 going in the 10th round) Great win for Rios:thumbsup

Maybe so, but hell, the kid's the champ. Let him fight the best. He's got good power, pressure and chin. I'd give him at least a shot to win.

    I was just thinking that.

JMM would probably TKO Rios. Those counters Acosta threw were really hurting Rios. JMM would pick him apart and TKO him in the mid rounds.

JMM wins a very very wide UD in my opinion, maybe TKO. Rios is rising fast though and JMM is fading, we'll see in a year or so.

Hmm, this fight I'm not sure of. Marquez may have a slightly better chin and much better recovery abilities than Acosta, but I can see him being dwarfed by giant Rios. Acosta is pretty big himself, and is definitely a bigger puncher than JMM at lightweight.

Now that im thinking about it this would be a good scenario, rios vs vazquez winner fights soto antillion winner, the winner of that fights faces marquez who will come back down in a unification bout after fighting pac at 140. If marquez wins I think that would be a good moment to retire on top.:smoke

JMM has very good power. Even at LW. He KOd Diaz a guy who was known for his chin. Casamayor who had never been stopped and stopped Katsidis who has a decent chin.

Acosta does have very good power though i will agree with you but JMM has more than enough power and precision that will catch you off guard.

Like Teddy said "Its all about the delivery!!!"

135 is an unusual weight class right now. It's hard to tell just how good he is.

JMM aint getting any younger. JMM v Katsidis beats him, JMM v Diaz I, I'm not so sure.
