If Floyd takes a tune-up fight in November, then the Pacquiao fight won't be happening for another ****ing 12-18 months from now. And that's if we're lucky.

He 34 and inactive. Weve seen it many times before with fighters fighting once a year. Part time fighters at the end of their careers will eventually lose in a fight they are expected to win. Its really just a matter of time for Floyd. Manny or not, he just needs to fight or retire for good and not attempt a comeback.

Don't think it'll be Amir either. Amir is fighting in April. Mayweather's tuneup is in July. THat's barely enough time for Amir's AZZ to train.

Save Amir for early 2012 in the UK.

    Erm, no. Never claimed to.

Are you a futute HOF boxer, with brittle hands who fights world class opposition once a year? If so what light exactly can you shed, from your implied personal boxing experiences, on how Mayweathers body will react to fighting twice in 6 months instead on his usual one fight per year schedule?

My arguement is purely theoretical and based on the things other people have said in this thread.

My point is that I don't understand how a fighting against an overmatched opponent in a sold out arena is good for shaking off ring rust, whereas having the same fight, against multiple partners and for longer in the gym is absolutely useless for it. Maybe you could explain why it is that the location effects whether or not ring rust is shaken off?

Isn't it late over there? Just go to bed and pray that Floyd will fight Amir in the UK someday.

Amir's current status doesn't make him look like a Mayweather victim. Floyd has only fought guys with big names, which Amir has, AND were coming off impressive wins in recent years.

    Amir barely got by Maidana.

Ok, I have no idea what you're actually talking about now. I talk about sparring and Floyd having bad hands and you write some **** about Cotto and Khan. You're a weird kid
