Props to SaiBox TV. He has some great points. It also highlights what i have been saying for ages and that is that the mexican trio were leagues above guys like cotto, clottey and margarito. Its also why manny really has no respect for guys like cotto or hatton in the ring.

I agree. Pac has improved but not that much. He was always great to begin with and guys like Barrera, Morales, and Marquez are really ATG featherweights who on their best days could beat any FW in history.

Pac went 5-1-1 against 3 of the best FWs of all time. When you box 24 rounds with a prime Juan Manuel Marquez, boxing a guy like Cotto is not the end of the world, and boxing a guy like Hatton is a piece of cake.

Pac's opposition has been great, but his opposition in his FW days was unreal. Think about it, the guy moves up to 126 and right away fights Barrera and MArquez back to back, then moves up in weight again and right away fights Morales.

Also, styles make fights. JMM has the right style to beat Pac, which is why he's given him such a hard time

I remember these videos. What Marquez did to make emmanuel ordinary didn't look like very much.

Sucks that most people won't even watch these videos and just get defensive instead.

No careful matchmaking only skill. Pacquiao makes it look like an easy fight because his opponents can't stand up to the pinoy power.

I thought he would beat Oscar and flat footed ass Cotto and even went for him in those two fights.

I did. Pacquiao has so much skils and power. Pacquiao can outbox Pernel Whitbaker and KO Robert Duran

They are not real boxing fans. They are casual Manny fans and the type of fans that Arum wants. :good

JMM aside from being imo a first ballot HOF fighter is a perfect style to fight pac. Someone who will keep pac honent in there and really make him pay for any mistakes or lapses in concentration. It also helps that he is a genuine puncher and has excellent timing.

i watched the video and that guy only has one half of the equation right. He's unable to understand what Pacquiao did to be able to box with Marquez and why Pacquiao was able to give Marquez so much trouble.

Also, he can see that Marquez' movement gave Pac trouble, but he doesn't see how his ability to let his punches go in combinations combined with that movement was so important.
