Good listen again.

But, can't agree with your views of Matthew Hatton v Ndou - he was lucky to get the draw against Ndou. Although, his fights after that have been very impressive - he has done well.

 

Good listen. Bit ironic Buncey saying about Ringside needing a good editor.

Lets hope Buncey can convince the Premier Sports lad to get the Kerr-Bunce team for all boxing fights. Simple studio set up like Setanta can't cost that much and would improve the coverage no-end.

 

Sick of bunce slagging of Ringside, he is like a spoilt child who didn't get invited, Ringside is the best boxing show for a long long time.

 

Other than the BBC Bunce hour... oh and the Setanta Bunce hour...

 

Im a big fan of the podcast, and we're getting it for free so i realise it's cheeky to complain, but Bunce and Lee spent the first 15 minutes of it bitching about Sky and plugging their rivals, who he happens to work for - this after he's moaning about their show being flabby and needing somebody to say cut this and that. It was like listening to a 12 year old whinge about the other girl who stole her boyfriend. Pretty self-indulgent. Once they started talking boxing, it was enjoyable as usual.

 

I love the ringside show, I think it's great. I enjoy Bunce's show too, but I think this slating of Ringside is driven by envy.
Can't wait for the De la Hoya special!

 

All the same, I would be interested to know why Sky do not want to use bunce for Ringside? He is one of the highest profile boxing commentators in the UK, is held in the highest esteem by the boxing community, but Ringside wont use him. His face just doesnt fit for Sky?

 

Him and Smith can not ever appear on the same programme, their personalities do not gel. You have Smith leering at his guests and the camera, all eyes like a young Terry Thomas, whereas Buncey rants and raves with controversy.

Both are equally interesting but better off apart.

 

Listen to it again...95% about Ringside is positive...I mention that a strong editor would improve it and people think that I'm knocking it! Wrong, listen again.
It's a mighty fine freebie once each month.

we all saw what happened when bunce and barry mcguigan was doing the same show (forgot which card?)..and barry looked pissed off all night..lol.
