Marquez would take him apart.....It would be a great fight though.

Soto is not in a decline, he's just been "playing possum" and faking his performances to try to lure the big names into fighting him, cause they've ducked him for years.

When Edwin Valero ducked Soto many times, Arum sought Valero's countryman-Acosta to fight Soto in Cancun, and Acosta declined, so Soto ended up fighting late-replacement Jesus Chavez, because both Valero and Acosta ducked Soto then.

Soto went 12 rounds with Antillon on purpose, just to look "mediocre".
Soto couldve KO'd Antillon in the 1st round, just like Soto couldve finished off Jesus Chavez, David Diaz, Benoit Gaudet all in the 1st round, after he kockdowned all of them in the 1st round, but Soto "played possum".

Soto is alot better than he shows, and as last nights telecast, we all heard SHOWTIME's Steve Farhood state that Humberto Soto is one of boxing's most underrated fighters today.

Farhood knows that Soto has faked it in the ring, and could do a whole lot better.

Rios would give JMM trouble, a lesser puncher Katsidis hurt Marquez badly, Rios would do more.

    :huh

Hurt him so badly that he couldnt finish him off after knocking him down, and Juan still finished the round stronger after being "hurt badly"?

Wow:rofl:nut...Are you really believing what you'r saying? I like Soto he's an excellent fighter but hes not on the ''superstar level''...I suppose he was also faking it against Juan Guzman??? And we all know Guzman is a good fighter but with no power and he absolutely scooled Soto...I know you will say Soto has improved since that fight but as do all fighters...Soto will never be a SUPERSTAR he's just is'nt good enough ...And I'm still saying Rios knocks him out...

No ****. That was a tough round to score based on how the KD was so early in the round then JMM actually went on to land the better punches after it.

I guess it could have been a 10-9 round for Katsidis.

if JMM doesnt get old over night he will teach rios a lesson .

i dont even think this fight will happen cuz JMM is gunna move up in weight n rios is gna defend the 135 belt .
