Is that from a film? Never Back Down, the Karate Kid of MMA D'jamon Hounsou plays a bad ass French fighter, which goes to show how unrealistic it is....
Anyway, in tribute of Ebersoles failed wheel kick last night it instantly reminded me of the Godfather of MMA fails

I don't think any other thread has ever been as unintentionally **** upon as this one. You are in Europe aren't you? I think it is "shat upon" there. That makes more sense. We are still struggling with putting **** in its proper tense in the US.

Anyway, this one isn't hilarious; but it is amusing: [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M9vR6IqhfTI&NR=1[/ame]

This thread has been well and truely hijacked. Im waiting for someone to come along and say we arent taking Tony Jaa seriously.
Yeah Im in Calzaghe land to be exact. Dont worry, we dont do grammar here. Most of the Polish immigrants speak better Queen's English than us

Yeah always fun breaking down Tony Jaa's strength's & weakenss' and effectiveness as a martial artist. Some people just dont take him seriously because he's never actually fought anyone. I mean REALLY!!!

I especially like how he checks the kick targeting his lead leg with his rear foot, behind the lead leg. No Thai Boxer would ever feint a kick just to catch Jaa standing on one leg.

Yeah that's true, it's so fluid you'd swear it was choreographed. I wonder how he would to aganst a 1 legged man in an arse kicking contests.

I dont think anyone in the world has mastered not standing still so Jaa can hit um with a leaping elbow on the top of the skull technique either. It's almost as if they were told to stand still

    Monasticism:

On May 28, 2010, Jaa became a Buddhist monk at a Buddhist temple in Surin, Thailand. However, as of 2011 he is no longer a monk.

Oh snap... I knew he was monking it up and ****! Glad he'll be back though!

All hail Ting, the Nong Pradu legend!

I knew he was studying Muay Thai as early as 10yrs. old and went on to add other elements like Tae Kwon Do, Jiu Jit Su, and bushido. Infact a lot of the joint locks he knows I thought were from aikido but it's actually from Muay Thai. They have other elements of Muay Thai besides the knees and the elbows which I always thought that was were it ended. I never knew he was a monk though.
