Counterpuncher, defensively skilled fighter, fast fighter, quick fighter.......take your pick on any of those, I want Pacquiao fans to honestly answer when the last time Pacquiao faced a fighter with any of those attributes.

I can answer that, as far as defensive skill, Clottey actually has a sound defense, unfortunately for the fans who tuned in, Clottey did'nt show up to fight.

.....poor Clottey said it even before he entered the ring, "that he was'nt going to allow Pacquiao to knock him out as he did Hatton and Cotto."

I hope marquez is next (which is likely now), then berto... and I'll wish upon a star that floyd cuts his vacation short and finally proves that hes no coward.

My Pick for pac vs marquez is a 5th rd tko this time, I think pac will be up for this fight big time, all that talking crap aint gna go down to well with the pac man. Jmm will meet the new/improved manny. The 1 that Hatton/may snr fukd wit.

show some respect to jmm, he is the man. Thats why pac has not fought any counterpunchers like him, because who else is that good? but mannys now a ring general , better counter puncher, defender and even better chin..

Pac wins tko, but if you think Pac hasnt improved then
You dont know **** about Boxing

careful match-making? if berto or even floyd has cotto, clottey and margo in their resume, their fans would proclaim them as the GOAT.

    Mayweather with OSDT.

Paul Williams before his fights with Martinez was sizing up and calling Pacquiao at 147 lbs.......

......and on the fast side, Andre Berto who could match and even exceeed Pacquiao's handspeed.

.....at 140 lbs, Juan Manuel Marquez who twice has schooled him.....
......Bradley is another tough and fast juniorwelterweight with good all around boxing skills.....

Khan as well, but I'd give Pacquiao a pass on that one since they both camp out together.

All the fighters I've mentioned bring dimensions to the game that the slower come foward fighters Pacquiao has been facing dont.

Puga, Hatton, Cotto, Clottey, and Margarito are all credible wins, but you have to admit that none of those guys are anywhere A level skill boxers, and none are fast. In fact, they are not only not fast, they're outright slow.

We've already found out that this roided version of Pacquiao can deal with strenghth and power, now its time to see if he can deal with boxing skill and speed, as he's yet to face that type of opponent since Marquez took 18 out of 24 rounds against him.:deal

cotto has A level boxing skills. clottey is one of the best defensive boxers not only at the weight but probably in boxing and both cotto and clottey had fast, lightning jabs. so which one aside from floyd he has to face aside from the guys he already fought? we all know that jmm went back at 135 after floyd demonstrated that he could not carry his speed and effectiveness above 135. even at 135, he is struggling with guys like casa, diaz and katsidis.

Try some reading and comprehension old school ***** hater :hi:

Here I'll play nice with you and qoute my answer to your question

"show some respect to jmm, he is the man. Thats why pac has not fought any counterpunchers like him, because who else is that good? but mannys now a ring general , better counter puncher, defender and even better chin.."

Get it? Marquez has always been near the top p4p which is why he gave manny trouble in their previous meeting. But marquez is older and still the same and the pac man has evolved and have gotten better

Fighter of the decade, 3x fighter of the year etc ...

Floyds all that left. the last Big Challenge for pac. But its hard to fight the vacationer

    Now answer my question

    Has pac improved since jmm?

I addressed the CLottey fight in a previous post on this thread, and no Cotto does not have A level boxing skills.
He's at his best when he's coming foward in a seek and destroy posture.
Cotto does alot of lateralling when he's not getting the best of it in the exchanges which people mistake for boxing. That is'nt boxing, thats surviving, which is why I scored his fight with Mosley for Mosley.....and that was years ago when Cotto was prime.

Cotto and Clottey lightning fast jabs????:rofl:rofl:rofl

......and as for Marquez, I heard forum members post he was struggling and getting hit more often against the 2nd tier right before he went on and schooled Pacquiao again in their rematch.
Its the same old story from you Puga.:yep
