I don't think so. Rios only beat Acosta because he was much bigger & stronger.

Honestly if Maidana couldn't knock out Khan I don't see why Rios who probably doesn't hit half as hard as Maidana could. Plus Rios has that soft body, and Khan seems to have a pretty devastating hook to the body.

Khan is too fast for rios, rios is soft in the body, would be softer at 140.

Seriously, Khan by ko, no questions, Rios gets worked over, takes too many punches.

rios is a nightmare for khan, he will walk through everything khan has to offer and corner him.

i'd pick rios late stoppage after khan tires from all the movements.

Rios is P4P king he beat Acosta who was formerly P4P king, I guess thats the reason he's rated so highly on this thread?????

    This :rofl

Acosta was a little known champion fighting in the US for the first time. I won't take anything away from Rios's determination, but Acosta was not Montiel, and this wasn't a unification fight.

At the very least, let's wait and see Rios's performance against a Top 10 Jr. WW before we determine how well he will do against the #2 in the Jr. WW division.

Also, the insinuation that Rios would be tougher for Khan than Maidana is ludicrous, and you know it :patsch

well rios is the no.2 lightweight in the world so why not?

match ups like that happen often.

and you people (not you boxking) need to stop comparing maidana with rios, they fight nothing alike, maidana is more of a calculated brawler who likes to set up his big looping rights, rios is the margarito style all in your face 3 minutes of every round banging away to the head body.

Let Rios fight Ortiz first, then we'll talk about Khan.
