that is one of his biggest defensive flaws. its not so bad to do it at distance but he does it right in the pocket. naturally he wants to be an upright fighter bouncing around. he is having to against his instincts to sit down on his shots and put his hands up.
It's such a bad flaw, I know it's hard to change your natural instincts but this is something he really should have fixed since the Henderson fight
he has improved so much. i used to be his biggest critic because he looked like a **** amateur boxer throwing pitty patter shots and running around. he'll keep getting better hopefully. he says he is going to work on his wrestling, jits and power more.
