If you assume that the Sanders fight sets a precedent, you assume that Wladimir is the same fighter that he was 17-fights, and 8-years ago.

You assume Steward has taught him nothing, that he has gained no experience, and that he does not have better training or nutrition than he did 8-years ago.

All of those assumptions, in my opinion, are false.

Also note though what many others have said. I think Haye's potential for a knockout dwindles after 6 rounds and is non existent after 8. If Haye is pushing his punches or lunging because he's breathless then he's out of there no question.

P/S think Wladimir did not get enough credit for his last fight principally because Sam Peter has such an incredible chin. He would have blown away most Peter style fighters that night and looked very good doing so.

I think that this fight is an unknown, which is great. For me it depends on several factors but Haye is super-dangerous.

If Haye goes all out from the get-go he has a great chance. If he doesn't then his chances drop dramatically.

If Haye can successfully counter WK over the top of his jab then he can really shut WK down. If not, chances is he is gonna get jabbed to death unless he lands a bomb.

WK might be able to take Haye punches. For me WK is like a poor-mans Lennox and like Lennox he may show some resiliance if he is up for a fight. WK hasn't been wobbled for some time now and should be up for the fight.

Haye's wildness may confuse WK. That has certainly happened in boxing before.

Also Haye can punch on the move and possibly catch WK.

For me its a 60-40 WK win.

This fight is a mismatch. Wlad by KO. This fight will not happen however. Haye will decide to retire instead of taking a big loss then retiring. Him and Boothe are busy going over excuses trying to come up with something that will work.

Supporting Haye, but think Klitschko wins by stoppage.

Haye would not even engage the slow, flat footed, plodding Valuev who has less speed, power, skills, etc. than Wlad.

Haye is not going to engage Klitschko he will fight him basically the same way he fought Valuev and make this fight a huge stinker. Haye knows if he tries to engage Klitschko he will get KOed.

And why are some of you trying to give Haye the skill set of slipping punches like Mike Tyson? That is not how Haye fights.

Valuev has a granite chin and it makes sense to outbox him rather than go for a knockout. The best chance of beating Wlad is to knock him out.

Honestly, Harrison is a better comparison than Valuev. Wlad is 100 times better than Harrison but the gameplan is similar.

We know what improvements Wlad has made but are those improvements a help against Haye? I don't think they are. If anything, his more cautious style which helps him against 99% of fighters, could work against him when he fights Haye.

What improvements has he made which help him in a fire fight? He's a better boxer, yes, but has he learned how to beat a fast, aggressive style?

We will see how 'aggressive' Haye acts after he eats his first jab.

Haye needs to go after Wlad early, all gun's blazing.

He needs to put pressure on Wlad and make him fight.

If he fight's like he did against SNV he'll lose on point's.

I think it's up to Haye to make this fight exciting.

I don't see Wlad taking any risks and if Haye fight's like he did against SNV this is going to be a stinker. :verysad

Wladimir is going to knock this fraud out within the first few rounds. He'll probably try to carry him to prolong the punishment but Haye4's chin won't be up for the task.

Wladimir by KO within seven rounds.

Although there are many suspicions about Haye's chin, at heavyweight, he's never been hurt. Even when Barrett landed a flush shot to Haye when he was down, he took it fine. Not exactly proof of a granite chin but he has shown he takes punches better now. Considering he was draining himself so much at cruiser, it's plausible that that was the reason his punch resistance was so poor.

I think it's better than some would think. I doubt Haye will be hurt from a jab.
