This one of those fights where you get one of these scenarios 1.Klitschko wins in a boring Jab Jab fight, where Haye tries to use that "move, punch, out" tactic but fails to impress the judges. 2.Haye blows Klitschko out in under 3 rounds 3.Where both fighters excel their game, with both fighters opening up and landing shots leading to a either of the getting knocked out. The likelihood of number 3 to occur is extremely low, Klit will be too cautious to open up. Number 1 is very possible because we saw Haye do this against Valuev and it worked, he might try it again except throw bigger shots on the inside, but i can imagine him getting discouraged due to Klitschko's excessive holding and superior height and reach advantages. I predict Haye to stop Wlad in a shocking round 3 TKO. Im not a Haye fan i prefer the Klitschko's but he truly has the speed and power to force a knockout Whether or not Haye will finally face up and fight Wlad is another matter. The fight sadly will probably never happen
I'd pick Wlad by around the 8th to 10th. I think he'll be cautious and dismantle Haye with his jab, which I really don't think Haye has the ability to get past. If he does use his straight right or left hook earlier he could end it sooner than that. It does seem that Haye fans ae banking on Haye getting a huge shot in and Wlad being unable to recover. There doesn't seem to be much hope of Haye outworking or outboxing Wlad at all. I can't see the comparison between Haye and Saunders aside from the fact they both possessed quick hands, stylistically they're utterly different, in terms of stance, punching technique and willingness/ability to take a shot. I also cannot see Haye attempting a gameplan like he did against Harrison. Height aside they're totally different. Audley has always been inconsistent with his jab and overall punch output. If Haye tried to box that way against Wlad he'd have eaten around 50 solid jabs before the start of round 3. Another thing against Haye is that when he does come forward and launch and attack he's pretty clumsy with it, sometimes falling off balance and generally being totally wild, almost flailing in fact. A question for the Haye supporters, I know you're always saying Wlad hasn't faced anyone with Hayes speed and power, has Haye ever faced a good technical boxer with, possibly, the best jab of recent times and a good deal of power to back it up.
even haye him self said he was buzzed, but that ok,i assume you do not think power barret is at same level as wlads is:blood
Throwing 11.9 punches a round and back-peddling the whole fight is not "Outboxing" anyone. Haye's only shot is an early KO after that he will get KOed or if he runs lose a wide UD. Each round the fight goes Hayes chances plummet.
Im a big haye fan but cant see him doing it. People who think haye will win, how do you see this fight turning out?
I forgot which former Wlad opponent said this but it went something like this: "A jab from Wladimir is like getting hit with a bag of sand, his right hand is like getting hit with a bag of cement." Maybe it was Ray Mercer? Still, I don't think Haye will be KO'd by the first jab that Wlad lands, but it's the follow up straight right or left hook off that jab that will KO Haye.
if haye him self would belive he can winn against any brother ,fight would of happen long time ago.he just using their name to draw an attention to him self. And where is the cleaning of the division he promissed, may be Jack knows when it goin to happen.I do not think if haye planing to retire this fall he is going to fight two time a mounth to full fill his promisse:yep
On paper it looks like Haye has a good chance. Wlad seems lousy when it comes to dealing with pressure, and Haye with his power, speed and crazy reflexes should be able to exploit it. Wlads jab in excellent, but Haye is perfectly comfortable with headslipping his opponents opening jab to mess up his rhythm. Even so, my gutfeeling tells me Haye will be outskilled. The lad spends more time writing books about himself than he does trying to improve his game. Is he really ready for a boxing fanatic of Wlads stature? Wlad will come out cautios and throw jabs. Haye will avoid them, and look for a chance to dive in. When he tries Wlad will use his footwork to keep some space between them and load up with his right. Then Haye can choose between retreat or taking a good one in the face. After that Haye wont know what to do, and he will spend the rest of the fight loosing rounds while he try to avoid sharp powershots fram Wlad. :ko Wlad comfortable by UD.
i like haye. i think wlad has problems with guys who are quick. expect haye to be 210 for this fight.
And Wladimirs chin is made of granite, there both capable of knocking one another out, you wouldnt bet on this one. Wladamir hasnt fought anyone as quick at heavyweight as Haye and throws bombs with it.... :deal
It's going two ways, haye by ko or haye loses via embarrassing herbie hyde style ko. No way is this going the 12 and my money is on Haye to ko wlad just has too much speed for wlad to handle imo.
Wlad by mid round KO imo. 60/40 Wlad, but only 60 because of Haye's power, which evidently, is his only chance in the fight. I think Haye will look to reset Wlad, take advantage of his somewhat robotic style, then once he has Wlad turning, he will attack him, essentially punching off the angles his movement creates, problem I see with this, is that Wlad will stalk him off the front foot, look to break up his rhythm by strategically jabbing at the right times, and when Haye does try to shoot in with his attacks after resetting Wlad, Wlad will have the whole ring behind him, which might make it easier for him to step away from those attacks, or to step back and drop the counter right hand on Haye. I think if Haye hasn't done something significant early to shake Wlad out of his rhythm, that Wlad will start to dominate with the jab and eventually zero in with the right hand anyway. I cant discount Haye's chances because he has world class power, but that is his only chance imo, landing a wild one over the top.
Agreed. This is my problem. Haye needs to go for the blitz. If the fight looks anywhere remotely similar to the first round of Haye-Harrison then Haye is done. I don't really envision this, and I'm not quite in agreement with your assessment of Haye's inside ability. Haye only seems to throws these uppercuts that you describe of when he has his opponent hurt. I rarely seem him slip and throw big hooks and uppercuts, only when his opponent is very vulnerable.
