still has 10 lbs more to go, but it shoudnt push it. i got the info for friends related to his trainer,i cant confirm its true
10 more to go? Does this mean that he's at 257 and his goal is to get down to 247 or he's at 247 and his goal is to get down to 237? I'm guessing you mean the former because 237 almost doesn't seem realistic.
235-245 lbs I'll b happy, he is only 6'1" but he is big bone and at 30 y/o with the amount of weight he has put on in the past, it will not b healthy to drop too much, after all this is not a Mr. Universe contest, he needs strength, been in shape of course but maintaining his stamina.
#1. He was 247 in his UD win against Julius Long. Make of that whatever you want. #2. I won't believe his weight until he's on the scale, remember all the Briggs talk, Briggs himself was saying he was down to 248..and he showed up at 262. (Of course Briggs is taller, and a lot more muscular, so 262 on Briggs isn't nearly as bad as it is on Solis.) Point is, you never really know until they step on the scales. For the record I do hope Solis comes into the ring in better shape than he has been, that way it can't be used as an excuse when Vitali wins.
If I remember right a doctor told me some years back that the difference in weight with a big boned and (healthy) small boned man is around 2%.
Too little time for Solis to lose the weight efficiently and to train in order to make up for all the lost time that he has spent with his food.
I was surprised about it too. She said that the whole big bone-thing is a myth and even osteoporosis can affect 'only' 25-30% in bone density. Bones makes about 15% of bodyweight so even osteoporosis won't show big on body scale.
