    Kelly Pavlik doesn't owe anything to anyone.
    He doesn't owe anything to Youngstown.
    He doesn't owe anything to boxing.
    He doesn't owe anything to his trainers.
    He doesn't owe anything to you.
    Aside from his wife and kids, Kelly Pavlik only owes himself.
    As a sports nation, America loves to build up its heroes. It loves to hold its athletes on a pedestal. That way, when the pedestal comes crashing down, everyone can say "I told you so," and mock the person they put there.

    I think he owes boxing funs alot, he made money and became famous because we watched him fight and payed PPV's.

    hopefully he is saving his money...i dont think he has the heart anymore...he should train hard and get a few more hundred grand and then invest....ur right he doesnt owe boxing anything.

    Paid for PPV's, he vindicated it with some great performances and yes, also took some defeats, but he never layed down and didn't give value.

    He owes fans nothing.

    I hope Kelly Pavlik succeeds in coming back and just being a good, healthy fighter for himself and family.

    ****ing hyprocritical bull****, owes us for PPV's! ****ing wanker....

    i'm not hating on Pavlik, as a boxing fan I respect him alot for fighting and beeing in the ring with the best, but the real thing is that whitout boxing fans, and whitout people who support boxing he would be nothing. Lets hope he comes back and makes more money and fame to do well for the rest of his life...we owe him respect for training hard and fighting, and he owes us respect because we watch and support this sport. Hope we can comunicate at a decent respectfull level, don't need to prove me that you are an "internet tough guy".
