Wlad vs Larry Holmes, who wins?

Wlad ain't getting outboxed
I would favor brawlers with great speed and big power against Wlad, but Holmes doesn't have the style nor the aggression to pressure and trouble Wlad.
Wlad by imposing his gameplan and winning by late KO, after being ahead on all cards.

 

You gotta be ****ing kidding me on the poll....holmes won over 90 percent of his heavyweight fights by knockout with the 2nd most title defenses ever and beat guys that would eat wlad alive (shavers, norton- both beasts and horrible style match ups for wlad). not only that but he moves better, jabs better, is quicker, has more heart and a way better chin and has way more adaptability than wlad. this isn't even close. the only thing wlad has an advantage in is punching power, that's it.

 

Wlad controls range better than any big HW ever. His weaknesses could be exploited by a charging speed demon, but not by someone who outboxed opponents based on his jab. Tough fight for both, but Holmes is easier to hit, Wlad hits harder, Wlad by late TKO.

 

Waldimir is better than Cooney, better jab, better right hand, his chin is worse than Jerrys. Wald is an all around better fighter than Cooney. And Cooney went 13 rounds with Holmes..

Wlad had a better left hook,rite hand,and jab not mention stronger. Larry better hopes wlad gases out or he's in 4 a long nite.

Wlad has never faced anyone even remotely capable of out-jabbing him and I don't think he's versatile enough to go to plan B, especially not against a fighter as good as Holmes. Larry had better movement and wasn't as one-dimensional.

 

They'd be trading jabs and right hands, and we all know Wlad cannot take 1/10th of what he dishes out. Holmes TKO6.

 

Definitely Holmes. Wlad does not do well with aggressive fighters and Wlad has never been in with someone that can match his own jab. If he struggled with a one dimensional fighter like Peter, no way is he beating a real monster like Holmes. Holmes was an aggressive, iron jawed boxer/puncher in his prime at most if Wlad got lucky he might of had his moment and knockdown Larry, but he wouldn't be able to keep him there. Larry would only get pissed and land his right repeatedly over Wlad's jab and once he'd wobble Wlad, go in for the kill. Larry had great footwork for a HW too. Wlad would also tire trying to match Holmes workrate and no way would he catch him consistent either. Holmes by TKO.
