Well obviously this is Canelo's most significant fight fighting for the crown so he'll be extra pumped, but I think Hatton's style is tailor made for Canelo and Matthew like his bro are good at clinching so it will be a boring, one sided fight. I have no problem Canelo fighting Hatton, but for the belt, this is a joke and neither deserve it. Alvarez TKO 10 Hatton

I think it will be a UD for Alvarez. I doubt he stops Hatton.

I have seen FAR MORE of "Canelo" than I have seen of Hatton. The one thing I can say for this fight is that it will be "ALL ACTION!!!" It seems as if Alvarez is a little more versitile and has better overall skill. My safe pick would be "Canelo" but wouldn't be surprised if Hatton pulls out the victory.

Hatton is awful, if Alvarez doesn't KO him by 5 we might be getting ahead of ourselves with overhyping Alvarez

I would be very surprised if Hatton even makes in competitive.
Although I'm impressed with Matty's progression, I expect "soulless" Saul Alvarez to end it in the first half of the bout.

    By Mark Vester(on boxing scene)

The fight is contracted a at 150# catchweight. When the contract was signed there was no title at stake. Last week, the WBC approved the fight for their vacant title at 154#. Jeff Powell(Daily Mail reporter) was advised that the WBC will order both fighters to weight the 154# limit.

To make matters worse for Hatton, Powell was told that GBP will move the weigh-in from mid-afternoon to noon, which is going to provide Alvarez with additional time to rehydrate.
