About a Month ago, I created a thread asking why two fighters that were fighting in the same division at the same time, from the same region of world and around the same age...Never manage to fight each other: Junior Witter vs Ricky Hatton (http://www.eastsideboxing.com/forum/showthread.php?t=270679)

And It got several responses from a lot of posters from "Across the Pond" who gave their reasons why this fight never happened, although I would imagine none of them were official. I was very surprised at the number of posters who actually believe that not only would Hatton win....But he would win EASILY, BY A KO. IMO...I think that is one of the most ridiculous Prediction I have ever heard, Here's why: Hatton was indeed the big name, more hyped and had more exposure to fight fans across the globe. But Hatton Looked Awful when matched against fighters with Speed and Athleticism (Collazo, Mayweather and Pacquiao). Witter was very Athletic with speed and extremely awkward with the ability to Box as an orthodox fighter as well as a Southpaw. Can Hatton win...ABSOLUTELY!!! But if anyone thinks Hatton would just Steam-roll over Witter in a handful of rounds is just completely Ridiculous.

Well, this is the worst Prediction I have heard...What's yours:pop

Haye would KO Klitshcko within 2 rounds.

The Haye fans need to get a grip on reality.

Yeah, I would have to agree....That one is kinda' Crazy. Haye can win vs both Klits, but he would have to fight one HELLUVA Fight for 24 ROUNDS!!! But a KO in 2 Rounds is ****ING RIDICULOUS!!!

    Well..

I like Orishaman but when we disliked each other...

He predicted Baldomir TKO 11 Mayweather. With him dominating every round.

He was also a southpaw, well he can switch at least, and I seem to recall someone saying Hatton had trouble with southpaws, even in the amateurs.

Also, someone on the forum about a year ago made this huge thread stating how he absolutely knew how Bernard Hopkins could, not only defeat Wladimir Klitschko, but knock him out.

I forgot who it was, but he had a couple of different user names. I noticed he doesn't come on here as much.

Anyway, I've noticed that Wladimir Klitschko doesn't receive very much respect from a lot of his detractors. I don't care for certain fighters for one reason or another, maybe it's fight style or maybe it's the fighters personality or choice of opponents...whatever the case may be, I still give credit where credit is due.

But to discount a fighter who is a former Gold medal winner and current ring champ who hasn't lost in, what almost 8 years?

    c'mon now!!

Oh yeah, I remember some thinking that Chris Byrd and Roy Jones would take Lennox Lewis to school.

This was just after Byrd defeated Tua and Holyfield...and this was also after Jones Jr fought John Ruiz.

    Wow!!

I always thought this match up would be competitive. Shame that at that point Hatton was after the big money

If I was Ricky Hatton, I too would have avoided Witter. He was, stylistically, a very bad match-up for him. Even if he did win, he would have looked poor doing so. High risk, low reward fight.
