That Benn would knock out RJJ.

Benn rocks, but he doesn't win that mid-90s fight. No way.

it really wasnt as big a fight as you would think.
Over here there was never that much of a public demand for it. Witter was very much unknown by the public. only the true boxing fans knew of him. Which is a shame because i really liked him.

By the time Witter became popular here, ricky was already fighting in vegas. And once that happened and he got a whiff of the potential money there, a witter vs hatton fight was always off the table.

But i agree Witter would be a nightmare fight for Hatton

Not really the most redicuous prediction, as These are the heavyweights and one punch KO can happen, ahay is fast enough and Wlad is Chinny enough.

Whilt i favour either K bro, Haye as a chance for an early knockout.

Haye KO2 is no less ridiculous then predicting Wlad KO2. Both have a lot of power and not-so-solid chins, but Haye's style makes it a more realistic prediction imo, especially considering Wlad's 'grind-them-until-they-fall-over' style.

Back to Hatton-Witter, this is a simlilar position to Froch and Calzaghe in terms of public awareness. Witter was more accomplished than Froch at the time, but no-one outside his limited fan base knew he was. That said, Witter definitely gives Hatton problems but an early Hatton KO isn't entirely out of the question. I would have gone for late Hatton KO or points either way.

i love the guy, love his heart and think he's good for boxing,

but hearing williams' team predicting he could go to 168, with williams himself saying he wanted hopkins and calzaghe at 168 is absolutely rediculous.

i'll edit to post hopkins' response: "Paul Williams is hoping to come up to 168?" responded Hopkins when told of Goossen's comment. "That would be fantastic. That would be great. I would love it. I'd love it." - April 8, 2009 on an espn article.

    PBF-Pac

People thought Pac would blitz through PBF because he TKOd their common opponents.
Little did they know PBF would have outboxed Pac all night.

Pavlik-Williams also comes to mind. I have been saying it all along. Pavlik would have KOd Williams something fierce. Proably worse than Martinez. Stylistically PW is made for Pavlik. With Pavliks power. OUCH!!!

If Margarito hurt PW at 147 that showed you PW would not be able to handle the higher weights as well as he thought.

pavlik knocked everyone out at 160 who would stand there and trade with him, and i've always said the williams fight would be no different. what's rediculous about a pav/williams hypo match up is williams and his camp constantly saying they would knock kelly out. that is absolutely rediculous.
