I think apart from being knocked out which is a real posibitily. More to do with heavyweight power than questions about his chin. He can beat any of the "small" heavyweights.

ripcity ranks Pernell Whitaker as the second greatest fighter p4p of all time. What do you think does this mean for his other lists?

not to speak for ripcity, but they might include tommy burns, marvin hart, leon spinks, michael spinks (who wasn't quite the same fighter at heavy) and jack sharkey

Keep in mind between Jones supect chin and heavyweight punching power there is a real posibility that Jones loses these fights by KO. However Jones speed. He's faster than any heavyweight is going to give a lot of heavyweights problems. He can beat any heavyweight who is about his size. I don't see him beating the giants of the devision. Even if they are not as skilled as him.
    John L. Sullivan
    James J. Corbett
    Bob Fitzsimmons
    Marvin Hart
    Tommy Burns
    Jack Johnson
    Jack Dempsey
    Gene Tunney
    Max Schmeling
    Jack Sharkey
    James J. Braddock
    Ezzard Charles
    "Jersey" Joe Walcott
    Rocky Marciano
Floyd Patterson (this match up really intreges me)
    Ingemar Johansson
    Charles "Sonny" Liston
    Michael Spinks
    Mike Tyson
    Evander Holyfield
    Michael Moorer
    Hasim Rahman

Now I'm not saying Jones wins 100% of the time or that I would favor him to win all of these match ups. The question is who could Jones beat at heavyweight not who would he beat at heavyweight. If it was my list would be a lot shorter. I fell that Jones could beat these guys.

Tyson is probably the worst possible match-up for him.

Peak Tyson & Patterson were much faster...

Peak Holyfield was faster than 2003 Heavyweight RJJ too.

RJJ honestly has more chance out-boxing a Klit than surviving against Tyson...

Although both are very remote possibilities.
