    Zappa was outboxed for the most part by Fernando Angulo. I doubt Vazquez will have too many problems with him. Just too straightforward for Vazquez, I suspect. Not that I think Vazquez is awesome or anything, but I haven't been too impressed by Zappa in what I've seen of him.

    No he didn't. It was in 2008 while Alvarez started end of 2005. Also they fought him at 148. Since then Vazquez went down in weight and found his weight class. Anyway he is a good fighter with an awkward slippery style. He's got a good right hand too.
    He is definitely one of the best guys in the LW division but not the one I would like my fighter to go against if I were a promoter.

    Actually he did lose to Canelo in HIS (Vazquez) debut fight, somewhere around '06. He lost to Canelo again in their rematch in '08. Both by SD, i believe.
