Holmes was faster and had more snap than Wlads. Holmes had the best jab. Ali, Liston, Lewis, Wlad, Johnson, Holyfield and Lewis all had tennific jabs. So did Tunney and Charles ..
wlad has a great jab, but you don't know how great it is because of his opposition, is the opposition really that weak? probarly not that good, but not that weak either, or is his jab so great that he makes the opposition look so poor? i go with the first one, but perhaps after vlad retires we have a different view. but i have read that some opponents of vlad said, that when he jabbed them, it was sometimes like a power punch in comparision to other fighters.
Wlad Klit and Sonny Liston have / had great jabs, but I still gotta go with Ali and Holmes as being the best........ Ali's jab cuts; Holmes' jab punished........... Wlad Klit and Liston also have / had punishing jabs, too......... MR.BILL
I'm surprised Holmes is getting the accuracy category. I always thought he had the most consistently punishing jab. Ali's to me, looked like it could never miss the bullseye.
In your list, I pick Holmes. An overlooked great jabber, however, is Bruce Seldon. And, believe it or not, Joe Bugner could throw a mean-assed left jab too.
