Would you stop with this BS? I never said Lewis was in his prime but he was not far from it and certainly not shot like you like to paint it.

As long as Lennox got the rematches he needed, he was perfectly content never handing them back out to the men who deserved them. Vitali and Mercer should've each had the chance to avenge their losses against Lewis.

and I thought he was on his way to stopping Klitchko. He was starting to land his right hand and eventually Klitchko would have gone down.

The general public already did - they groaned loudly at another title shot which was promptly ignored.

Champ gets rematches, failed challengers get back in queue.

I would have enjoyed seeing a rematch with Mercer - however Mercer torpedoed that one.

VK as the ten year younger man gets back in queue.

That victory will always be a hollow one for him. He didnt "beat" Vitali. The fight was stopped on a cut, it should have been ruled a technical decision, and he SHOULD have lost

If anything is embarrassing it is your ignorance. WBC ordered the immediate rematch. Lewis had the choice to fight to keep his title, get stripped or retire. He chose the weakest way out

    Semen,

    Get your own line.

What a worthless **** you are prattling on a forum saying LL chose the weakest way out. No doubt you have the heart of a pea and would **** yourself in any legit boxing gym.

You are a ****ing joke and despised on this forum.

Lewis beat VK so badly the doctor had to rescue him.

It was an awful beat down.

Lewis had been shot since Rahman 1.

I think he didn't want the rematch because vitali would have whipped his ass the next time around. He really didn't have anything left to prove though so I understand why he retired.

Lewis would have been knocked out in the very next round and he knows it. Lewis' badly broken nose, he was staggered, could not stagger Vitali, not even one time. Lewis knows he would get knocked out in a rematch. If a rematch would so easy, then why didn't Lewis fight the rematch for the highest pay day of his entire career! Lewis' promoter signaled Lewis' doctor to signal Lewis referee to stop the fight without even looking at the cut. One more round and Lewis would have been knocked out! Lewis retired rather than fight a rematch. If Lewis wants to prove he could beat Vitali, then he should agree to a rematch now!
