I think in time he will but only because of aging. I can actually envision Canelo being one of Pacs last fights. Obviously in the future CAnelo will be a big name and Pac will face him for big money.

I noticed before maidana ripped his soul ot Ortiz was de la hoya's protoge now that he has failed and got a draw vs peterson he decided to cash out on the guy to get the investmentmoney back, all or nothing vs berto.
Alvarez is his new golden boy, that being said Oscar is rushing him way to much, put him aigainst pac now and he gets knocked out, He might have a chance in 2013 or something when pac is over the hill and looking to retire. But at this point he hasnt got a good chance.

I dont know I think so as well but on the other hand there is still bob arums fued with gbp, Its more likely he will sacrifice pac to a rising star to pass the torch.

    It's mathematics's...
DLH is simply using one of oldest adage's in the sport.
One is on the rise, The other is on the decline.

Couple years down the road... Who would have imagined/thought DLH Vs. Pac?

I think thats exactly what will happen. It would be very stupid to rush a 20 year old kid who is already packing 10,000 fans into a building. DLH will not be stupid with this kid. The potential is there but the bad thing which is gonna get him alot of criticism is that he is already gonna pick up a title ala Berto. Much too soon now its either:
    A. defends vs tough opponents and runs the chance of being Vargassed
    B. Defends against soft opponents and will be Bertoed

Thats why i didnt want him to pick up a title so yound. Unless he is one of a kind type of fighter scenario A will ruin him. But you never know. Its not every year we get a 20 year old prospect who has the ring generalship he does.

100% correct, so what should he do after he picks up the belt? I think his best move would be to berto it out for 2 years then when he is getting good step up in competition so that the earlier part will be forgiven and forgotten, thats his best option, I definitely dont want to see this kid end up like vargas.
