Completely agree with this, I like the way Taylor handles himself and hope it works out.

If you think Froch won because of one lucky punch you didn't see the fight

I think the fact that he called him 'Crotch' says it all about the balanced way he watches fights.

I have never seen him do terribly in a fight. There were some brutal late round stoppages but by no means do I think he's "shot", especially at a relatively young age.

you ever met jt in person? you'd be an even bigger fan. i've met him and what you see on tv is what you get. no phoniness. very friendly, polite, thoughtful caring individual. he treated me like he knew me from way back when i met him, for the first and last time, like good friends or family. that's why i can't stand seeing him get hurt or lose fights.

He should fight Enzo Maccaranelli. Whoever gets knocked out is the Glass Jawed P4P#1.

i'm surprised hopkins didnt call him out since he was on his revenge tour w/ rjj. the rjj fight was completely unnecessary considering roy's previous fight but it happened anyways. at least taylor was competitive in his last fight.

BHops "revenge" against RJJ was as silly as Sato's revenge against Mr. Miyagi in Karate Kid II.

That kind of thinking is probably what keeps Taylor's hopes alive and it's delusional. Taylor started well against Froch, but Froch was winning the later rounds and Taylor was badly fading, there was no "lucky" punch. Then in his very next fight, Taylor didn't even have his usually impressive early round firepower anymore. Abraham is overmatched in the super six but was beating Taylor easily.

JT will always be admired for always fighting the best and he was once the recognized MW champ, lots of stuff to be proud of. What's the point of coming back? Pavlik could walk straight out of rehab and beat him again, Froch would beat him earlier, Abraham and Ward would beat him, Martinez would probably beat him...

I think he may be as good if not better as anyone at 160 and 168 for 10 rounds the problem is that championship fights are 12 rounds.

he's done...he can't take a punch anymore and would be risking serious damage..
