I do think Dzinziruk has a good chance but I think he'll get outfoxed by Martinez in a competitive fight. Hard one to call really.....

Pirog's got some nice upper body movement. He's really ellusive, which could and should give Martinez problems. This would be one hell of a fight I think.

 

If there's one thing I've learned since being on these boards it's that people don't learn.

 

Yea I agree The Razor will be one of Sergio's toughest challenges. This reminds me when casual fans thought Ike Quartey would be a cinch for Oscar, but even before the fight Oscar said he would be tougher than Trinidad which came out to be true. If, and that's a big IF, The Razor can handle Sergio's power, Sergio will be in for a long night. Once again I have mad respect for Sergio for not taking any easy fights and The Razor for moving up to take on Sergio. At the end of the day they both really are 154lbers so it's evenly matched at the scales. The Razor is actually the taller man, but Sergio has the longer reach. This is a long awaited match for the hardcore fans.

 

Im thiking about putting money down on the razor. Martinez is a great fighter but the razor has the style to give him hell.

 

The only thing threads like these do is increase the chances of winning for the guy who's supposed to leave on the stretcher.

Yea I know what you mean. The Razor is no spring chicken neither and this one has potential. The razor is very disciplined, no bs type of fighter, and I'm sure he might have his moments. I think he might be outgunned, but The Razor won't get into a slug match with Martinez and look more to pick his shots and his best moments might be countering Sergio or surprising him.

He keeps his punches short and compact while we know Sergio is a mid to long range fighter, but his speed prevents Martinez from getting caught. Sergio's biggest problem might be Sergey's southpaw jab, but then he handled William's pretty good, even though Sergey's is more precise.

The way I see it playing out is Sergio circling the bigger man out of the The Razor's range and forcing Dzindziruk to come after him. That much I know for sure.

Any select reason besides he's simply better? Like a breakdown for those of us not too educated on Dzinziruk?
