Who will GBP match Canelo with after he whoops Hatton Boy? I hope they dont match him with some bum. Obviouslly it can not be a Top Rank foe so who are some options? Paulie Malinagi? Perro Angulo? Soto Karass? Maidana? Zab Judah?
It will unlikely be a TR fighter but not impossible , these two promotions have made fights over the years so its not impossible !!! For me there is only one fight for him after Hatton , Angulo in Mexico !!!
No need to rush!! Should he get passed M. Hatton this weekend sky is the limit @154/& best of the 147lbers... That said, no need to rush the kid... IMO, Chavez Jr. Vs Alvarez Would make a $hitload of money. Both in the same place pretty much, the winner moves on.
Kermit Cintron would be interesting. He is in deseperate need of redemption after the Williams "fight" and Cintron would be a good name for Canelo's resume. I agree Chavez would be a good match up, but I have a feeling Chavez will stay at middleweight. A small part of me would even like to see a unification (assuming he beats Hatton) with Bundrage.
**** not rushing anybody , he's shown enough skills to be mixing it with the best fighters in the division , the only man id be steering clear of @54 is Williams , everybody else for me is in play for Canelo :deal Also , id like to know his take on where he see's himself in terms of weight class , he's only a baby and if he's struggling to make 47 now , forget it , he's a Jr MW !!! Bundrage would be a great fight. Canelo probably gets exposed against someone with movement. A guy like Bundrage would be perfect for him and a great fight.
JCC Jr. I won't let him walk at the same street as Angulo. Angulo will tear him apart at this point in a worst way that Maidana beat Ortiz because Canelo is not going to quit. Canelo should learn to box and to execute different game plans before facing truly elite fighters
Canelo needs to drop that belt after he gets it. Alot of good fighters settling in those weight classes and i dont think he is ready. The kid is only 20 for gods sake!! Very stupid move to get him a belt so early ala Berto. Prepare to have this kid fed chumps for a while. The money potential is there and GBP knows that. This kid could be the new Oscar. I think he breaks the record PPV in a few years time. Lara, Henry, Jones, Solomon, Berto all possible super fights since they can be marketed as Mexio-PR-USA-Cuba. All they need to do is get a big mouth and get the American attention since that seems to be the way to do it here. Canelo already has the Mexicans on his side.
