  1. As opposed to all the shining greats on Mitchell's record?

    Mitchell's fought Johannsen, Prescott, Katsidis.

    Murray's fought who?

Mitchell hasn't fought since what? May. Nearly a year.

Murray's is in his ****ing 30th pro fight and is getting these type of fights?

As I said, he's a ****ing clown. I will enjoy seeing him get brutalised when stepping up (eventually............) against Rios.

Talks **** about Mitchell and Khan and the clown is fighting WHO?

just because murray talks **** about khan you dislike john personally, you take things way too seriously

  4. Johannesen? Is he any better than Buckland?
    Prescott?

If Murray was given a shot at Katsidis or any other top lightweight I think he would take it, he just hasn't been given the opportunities.

Again, this fight is a tune-up so that he isn't out of the ring for the best part of a year. He's got a big fight coming up, he doesn't need to put that in any risk.

As for enjoying seeing him getting brutalised... that just shows you up as a bit of a *****.

That's not the reason at all. I used to like Murray actually, till he fought the same shitty opposition again and AGAIN.

And then goes to the Camera's and says that others are fighting **** fighters?

    Right, look in the mirror.

Prescott sparked out the LWW Champ, Amir Khan. Remember?

Yes, let him continue with these tune-ups. Let's line up some more while we're at it.

He's in his 31st damn fight :patsch He's not 20 years old.

I don't like him. I want to see him get beat, and I will enjoy it.

Right, just like I'm a ***** for talking about someone's Ginger Girlfriend, which apparently, is racist

  7. Prescott's ****.

Okay then... less than 2 months before he fights in an eliminator, who should he be fighting?

Who in Britain, or Europe, has he 'ducked'?

He was with Mick Hennessy. He was never going to be able to flash £400,000 and bring someone over like Katsidis. Nor was he going to get him a silly ranking with the WBO.

If you want someone to blame, point your finger at Hennessy, but John Murray has never turned a Katsidis or anyone like that down.

    That was a joke...

The fight is not a tune up its a European title defence headlining a sky show. This fight is indefensible.

Mitchell is irrelivent to this conversation but its a fact he has has had 3 50-50 or higher fights and Murray has had none. His toughest against a shot Thaxton and Buckland who had 2 weeks notice.

  9. If sky are stupid enough to accept it, Warren's going to give it to them.

    Like I said, Hennessy.

So it was his promoters fault he had **** fights before, but now he is with a new promoter, who you have critacised for making **** fights for another domestic Lightweight, its Skys fault??

  11. I didn't criticise Warren's matchmaking with Mitchell. I just compared it to Murray.

It's a **** fight, but let's be honest, it's a tune up for Mitchell. Sky shouldn't stand for **** like this headlining shows, but they do.

Lets be real, if Murray and his camp were serious about fighting top level opposition they would have signed with Top Rank who could match him with Rios, Antalion, Soto, DiMarco, Vasquez, Acosta, Barerra or Goldenboy that have Katsidis, Marquez, Linares, Gurerro and Gesta.

But instead he signs with Frank Warren promising big fights in big arenas. 1 month later we get a spanish cabby at the york hall after 2 weeks of trying to bully his domestic rival to take a fight for short money without a tune up coming of a KO loss and a year out of the ring.

Warren and Murray will keep the longest unbeaten run going by taking the path of least resistance to a world title and you would be nieve to think any different.

Joe Gallagher has said Mitchell fight is not happening. Apparently he has lost his chance to make £20,000 without a tune up.

  14. Were Top Rank really in for him though Rob? We don't know that, so there's no point speculating on it. I don't blame him for signing with the top promoter in Britain.

Fair enough but don't come out and say "we signed with Warren to get big fights in big venues" and then serve up a pile of **** opponent in a smaller venue.
