First peter fight. Wlad actually seemed overpowered in that one. Very good fight actually peter almost had him.

The first peter fight wlad was already the improved, current version. In the second peter fight it wasnt how wlad had improved but more like how much peter deteriorated. Just look at his fight with chambers peter was done by then.

Sanders. Career defining fights doesn't really mean ''their best showing'', but what a fighter is remembered for. After Sanders Wlad would always be known as ''chinny''.

Maybe you should until you hit a relevant analogy.

For me, the career defining single fights for Wlad are still the losses. What his fans have every right to argue though, is that taken in their entirety, his defenses more than make up for these losses in terms of all time legacy. And while even as someone who isn't a fan, I personally believe his title run has cemented him as an ATG, there are always going to be people who point to the lack of dominant wins against worthy opposition, and they aren't entirely wrong either.

That's why for better or for worse, right or wrong, the Haye fight means something. It comes down to public perception, and for all his own drawbacks, Haye is seen as a threat. It will do wonders for Wlad's legacy to beat Haye and beat him convincingly, and from the way he has responded to Haye from day one, I think Wlad knows this. If it comes off, I'm pulling for Wlad to demolish him.

    Come on man...

****, I'd say Brock was his best opponent, but I suppose his career defining fight was against an old ass Mercer.

Ya'll Klitschko fans don't know **** about your own boxer. Ya'll must just be looin at him with no shirt on.

Basically, but at the same time you could make an argument that Brewster cemented it, cuz a guy like Wlad has no business losing to Brewster.

He's yet to have a great win whereas he does have a huge defeat in the Sanders bout. That, sadly, is a defining bout. He hasn't beaten a Dempsey, Schmeling or Louis, who are other fighters' defining bouts. He just has a series of "good" wins but nothing huge. The one huge, notable fight on his record is getting stopped in 2 rounds against Sanders. Everything else should have been expected and isn't noteworthy.

definitely the sanders fight where he was crawling around the ring in pure fear of being hit during a boxing match.

Agreed. Just for me it's after Sanders Wlad had the 'glass jaw' reputation and things never really changed from then till now. The Brewster fight as you said cemented it.

When saying career defining I think people mean what will he be remembered for. If he retired today, pretty sure most people would remember him mostly for getting KTFO by Corrie Sanders.
