DAVID HAYE has revealed he will go into Wladimir Klitschko's backyard to unify the world heavyweight title. The WBA champion has told Sunsport negotiations to fight a Klitschko are back on in a big way and it looks as if the mouth-watering showdown is heading for Germany where Klitschko is based. Haye, 29, said: "We are back on and it's all the same to me where it takes place. It does not bother me, Munich, Berlin, Gelsenkirchen, his backyard. I simply don't care, it's all the same to me. "I'm prepared to go into his territory to get what he has been hanging on to for far too long. It doesn't faze me. I have done it before and I will do it again. "I went to Germany and beat Nicolai Valuev, the heaviest and biggest heavyweight of all time when I was the underdog. "I did it with Jean Marc Mormeck when I went right into the heart of the Paris suburbs where he lived and knocked him out to become the world cruiserweight champion. "I'm not phased... I'll do it again with Klitshcko. Let's get him in the ring, that's all that matters. It doesn't matter when, it doesn't matter where, just so long as he turns up on the night. "If he wants to wear these gloves or those gloves. Fine. Just give 'em to me and I'll put them on. It doesn't matter what I knock him out with. " Haye's manager Booth is negotiating the finer points of the contract but virtually everything was settled during the last round of talks before Klitschko pulled the plug. Haye added: "How it all ended up last time was that we got to agreement then all of a sudden they turned round and said 'We are fighting Chisora first'. "Everything was agreed and we were waiting for it to go to contracts that would be legally binding. Just as we were about to put pen to paper with the agreed terms we heard nothing from them. "We had agreed money splits, TV stations that would air the fight, where the officials would come from, who would walk to the ring first. "No one will care about all that irrelevant stuff when I knock him out. Are people gonna ask me in years to come 'You knocked out Klitshcko but he came into the ring second? Who gives a monkeys ass. "All I want are his belts." Haye is scheduled to face mandatory challenger Ruslan Chagaev next but it is unclear whether Chagaev has received medical clearance to fight in the UK from the British Boxing Board of Control after he contracted hepatitis. Without the clearance from the Board, Chagaev would be unable to fight in the UK and it is unlikely that the WBA would insist on Haye as their current champion fighting outside of these shores. Haye beat Valuev because he sign with Sauerland! Wlad will knock Haye out. I hope Haye will sign the contract and will be in the ring on 2the of july.
Agree, anything can happen even if the fight is signed. Will believe it when they are both in the ring.
Going for option 4: I do care, but don't get my hopes up until both fighters are in the ring and the first bell has sounded.
