Sykes got caught cold by Buckland,but it isnt a one off. Dwayne Hill shook him to his boots and that kid isnt a puncher,Dean Mills shook him and he isnt a puncher. Buckland is raw and rushed Sykes and he was found wanting. There are no fairytales in real life Sykes is a good kid but he usually wins through being fit and his workrate something Johanneson more than matches him on. If Sykes wasnt too sharp for a plodder in Gary Buckland is he really going to be sharp enough for Johanneson. Put Johanneson in with Crolla or morris and the result is a stoppage as for o'hara the board wouldnt even sanction it. Sykes is far too limited.

and imo sykes will beat gary buckland over 12 rounds. sykes isnt a prizefighter and if you remember the interview before prizefighter sykes said "it takes me 3 rounds to warm up" p.f is a good payday he gary buckland earned more that night than sykes or any british champ does for the lonsdale belt. he took his chance and lost. however to compare prizefighting to championship boxing, well-just think about it!
sykes and johannsen is a massive fight here in west yorks and as pointed out earler tickets are rocking horse ****. you couldt get one last week.
however ive got mine and hats off to both lads for stepping into the ring. c.j will of been a bit of a hero to sykes as he made his campaign when carl was at the top of his game but i do beleive that maybe at 32yr old carls comeback ends on 5th march.

Chinny is a boxer who wobbles every time they get tagged,would love to get into a debate about it but look at Sykes record,his management know he's chinny and been k.o'd by a known banger at european level is a bit different to being shook by a journeyman over 4 or 6 rounds.

Buckland gave Murray a torrid time up at light weight i would favour him over the oft stopped CJ. The only way CJ beats Sykes is by KO whereas Sykes will be well able to outbox him and may even stop him. Should be a good fight regardless, real clash of styles.
