Prime Calzaghe wins on work rate, but it could be a close fight.

Ward would beat Calzaghe. Hopkins had his worst night cardio wise in his whole career due to illness, but still should have won. B-Hop didn't fail, the judges did. Irrefutable video evidence of the fight showing Hopkins should have been declared the winner 115-112.[ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cyz2cws8LBE"]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cyz2cws8LBE[/ame]

i always thought, when joe calzaghe was light heavyweight champ, that he could of added a few pounds and boxed the ass off sam peter for a heavyweight title belt. now that would have been a legacy.

Idk about sphincter damage, but I'd favor Calzaghe as he seems to have the advantage over Ward in EVERY SINGLE PHYSICAL DEPARTMENT IMAGINABLE, more experience, better adaptability, and better showings against common opponents.

This of course is the Ward from right now vs. the Calzaghe of 2006-2008.

    PS
Seriously...those of you who would put money on Ward (other than because he'd get good odds)...why?

    Speed: Calzaghe
    Footwork: Calzaghe
    Power: Calzaghe
    Chin: Calzaghe
    Experience: Calzaghe
    Adaptability: Calzaghe
    Awkwardness: Calzaghe
    Foulin' a *****: Ward

I think it'd be an entertaining fight, but I just don't see how Ward pulls it off.

You're right. He's got a long way to go to catch up to Joe in the irrelevancy and staying home department. Let's give him, say, 9 years and we'll see how you feel about him then.

    I didnt have Hopkins close.
Also FRAK how much money did Cortez get paid under the table?

    Watch this video:

Clearly shows Hopkins trying to head butt/scrape Calzaghe multiple times. He even did it to Cortez!

I would pick both Hopkins and Calzaghe to beat Ward.
Both UD as he will run after the 4th round against both. IF he tired to come inside, Cal does exactly what he did against Hopkins and Hopkins shows him who the dirtier fighter is.

The order of those two events would very much matter.

I haven't seen anything to suggest Ward would beat Calzaghe. Calzaghe's speed, workrate & experience would see him get a decision. I'm not convinced Ward would beat Bute but we may not have seen the best of Ward yet.

    U obviously know nothing..

Id say.. Wards and speed is 1½ x hopkins.

And Wards movementseed is better than Joes.

    But Joe still win..

Calzaghe fought less than half of his world title fights in his own country
