I havn't seen a good fighter with ****stani origins except for Khan...so we'll see.

 

Its gonna be interesting watching Aakash Hussein's career progress. Looks like he already had a good fan base & he can box a bit.
Not that convinced by Haroon after watching him at the commonwealth.

 

i hardly think 4/5 figthewrs makes them a dominating force tbh ... a lot of them are untested and only a few of are singed with big promoters the rest are trtoting away on small hall shows

 

i aint no rasist but this is getting stupid there will all ways be small minded people, the best we can hope for is they all inter breed and die out

u would have imagined with all the hype khan generated over the years there would be atleast a few high profile fighters in the pro ranks here in england or at least at armature level, the only other asian fighter i know did well as a pro was jawad ''too sleek'' khaliq but he wasnt anything amazing.

I think it's a bit too early to say they're the new players, you've only mentioned a handfull of names but I think it's good for the sport and the truth of the matter is that it's probably good for the ****stani community too. Hopefully it will have a postive effect on community relations and that kind of thing.

At the moment there impact in the sport is almost neglible compared to the impact of British boxers of Afro-Carribean descent and Irish descent.

 

I realise there british yemenis but the 2 yafai brothers are very good amateurs so i would be suprised if at some they did'nt make a good career in the pros.
